In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top Film & Television apps on the Android platform in Latin America showcased some interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these insights provide a comprehensive view of app downloads and active user engagement.

Netflix maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 962K in early January. However, a gradual decline was observed towards the end of March, with downloads dropping to around 507K. Weekly active users also saw a decrease from 49.6M to 41.1M over the quarter.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies experienced steady weekly revenue, hitting a high of $1.09M in early March. Downloads fluctuated, with a peak of 598K in early March and a drop to 388K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed growth, reaching 12.1M in early March before settling at approximately 9.7M.

Disney+ reported consistent revenue, peaking at $1.59M in early March. Download numbers rose significantly mid-March, reaching approximately 729K, while active users increased from 14.8M to 15.6M by the end of the quarter.

PlutoTV: Live TV & Free Movies showed no revenue but had notable download activity, with numbers reaching 709K in early January before stabilizing around 404K at the end of March. Active users hovered around 3.5M throughout the quarter.

Prime Video saw a steady revenue trend, peaking at $357K in late February. Downloads varied, with a high of 516K in early March, while active users increased from 9.7M to nearly 10M by early March, ending the quarter at around 8.9M.
